Your Security Dashboard

What the security dashboard shows and where to find it, a guide you can share with your own customers.

For partners

This guide (and the rest of the Customer Guide track) is written brand-neutrally, so you can link your customers straight to it, or copy and adapt it under your own brand.

Your security dashboard continuously watches your servers and domains and turns what it finds into clear, fixable security issues. You will find it in your hosting provider's client area under Security, or via the *View Security Dashboard* button.

What you see

  • Issue counts by severity: how many open findings you have, from critical down to low.
  • Protected endpoints: how many of your servers are being monitored.
  • Recent issues: the newest findings, each linking to a full explanation and fix.

The golden path

  1. 1

    Add your servers

Each server you add is scanned automatically from then on.

  2. 2

    Allow what you expect

Tell the dashboard which ports are supposed to be open (your website, your mail server) so they never alarm.

  3. 3

    Fix what alerts

Everything else that shows up gets an explanation and copy-paste fix commands.
